A Sabella's, San Francisco

As a native of the area, Sabella's is by far the best restaurant at Fisherman' Wharf. The food is always very fresh and delicious, the service is great, plus they also have very good New England-style clam chowder. Th restaurant has a nice view of the wharf, too. Don't miss this restaurant!

Absolutely the BEST! I took New York Italians there for their first visit to San Francisco. It really WOWED them. The beautiful decor, a view directly at Alcatraz and the bridges, attentive service AND the crab cocktail appertizers, exceptional entrees and fine wines. I'm a hero now. Soooooooo, I took my son there for his birthday! Double kudos for Mom! Don't miss it. The price is very reasonable. LDV San Bruno

My husband and I visited San Francisco over Labor Day Week-end. As per the recommendation of the Fromers guide book and internet reviews we went. I was awful. I ordered the mixed grill which had over cooked fishy tasting salmon. My husband orderred Torchio with tomeato and crabmeat -- it tasted like canned tomato sauce on overcook pasta with crabmeat. I orderred a glass of merlot which had no flavor at all. The total bill for this restaurant $119.00

I made a trip in California this spring in april.I like this restaurant very much and i recommend it when you go to San Francisco!I loved the seafood and the delicious desserts very much!It's great!

This place is not worth the money they charge for a mediocre food. My daughter even got sick after their risotto with seafood. Service also was in tune with the quality of food. With the exception of the beautiful view it is not worth visiting.

I went here in October and it was a delight. It has a nice atmosphere with attentive staff. The have a good selection of italian seafood dishes. This makes a good place for a date. There was a seafood broth with seafood such as clams, crab, etc which was a real treat, my wife can't stop raving about it... only problem it is a little pricey... like I said, a good place for a date, not just to grab a bite.

I loved this restaurant as it has excellent service and the food is spectacular. The desserts are especially worth mentioning. I recommend this restaurant to anyone going to San Fransisco anytime for any reason. The head chef Todd Hansen is extremely nice as well and worth sending your compiments too.

It was my wife's birthday and I was looking for a place to take her out to dinner I found A.sabellas on the internet and it was really good the food the view the service, it can be a litle pricey but I wanted to impress my wife and did not matter that night.
