Best Italian restaurant in San Francisco. Warm people; nice environment. The best food and great prices. Please don't miss the portobello and the lamb. You'll understand why they are still around after all these years.

Nice, authentic Italian food, with Latino waiters but that's fine. Love the cheese ravioli, nice cappuccino (hot), very attentive waiter and reasonably priced. Services the local San Francisco West Portal scene -- lots of great competition around this neighborhood too, great food at a great neighborhood.

Still here after all these years....hello Franco and Gosseppie. Always like the bolognes spagetti..and the pear salade. wait staffs are funny and friendly. Food is always solid. I tend to stay with the entree. I had secondi once in a while. Pizza is thin crust with ample topping. Flavored just right....but a bit salty for my personal taste. Very pleasant

My wife and I were in the city late one night and we looked all over for a place to eat I mean all over. We finally ended up on W. Portal by chance and decided to give it a shot. Boy, were we glad we did. The service was great especially for the time of night it was, and the food was just as good. The prices were very reasonable, a nice change for San Francisco.

We went there because of a friend's recommendation, and we were very glad that we did! The food and service were both very good, and the price was very reasonable! Everything we tried were very delicious, even the bruschetta was so good like nothing we have tried before! We had to order another one because everyone wanted more of it. Spiazzo Cafe is a nice little restaurant sitting in the quiet neighborhood of Sunset and definitely worth a try. It was great and we will surely go back again soon! (on weekend nights it is always packed. so go early because I don't think they accept reservations)

Great Ravioli, only so-so veal, salads are good too. The service was very friendly and has good reccomendations, should not have gone against them on the veal! But the ravioli was great.

We've eaten here around 4 times. The entrees were pretty bland, once served cold. We aren't planning to go back.

Place.. food and staff are just amazing. You will not forget it. And please... try the portobellos
