Hordes of people travel out to the end of the Avenues to enjoy top-notch Vietnamese-fusion cuisine for reasonable prices, so make your reservations early. Thanh Long restaurant is run by the same family who owns Crustacean (L.A. and S.F.) and features the same delectable menu. Of course, no visit is complete without sampling the famous Roast Crab or the garlic-infused noodles. Bartender Graham, a Thanh Long institution, is a master of his art and the drinks show it. the garlic noodles are way overhyped - who likes noodles that soggy! they should be more al dente. everything else was okay but overrated. i definitely won't be coming back.

Best Crab - Hands Down

What can I say. The food is to die for. I always get the same thing everytime I go there. The Garlic Roasted Crab and the Garlic Noodles. These two items are simply fantastic. You leave the restaurant licking your fingers.

Boy this is the best garlicky roasted crab and garlicky noodles I have ever had. I love the restaurant and the servicers is good too. We are usually a party of 10 (every other month)so it is great fun. My auntie comes here from Hawaii and this is where we have to take her for dinner everytime without fail. Oh, and the fried banana and ice cream yummy! I think this place is great for chowing down. Everyone gets quiet when the food is served.

The first time I dinned there I ordered the Roasted Crab and Garlic Noodles I was in Heaven. I couldn't beleive how amazing the food was so I've been going twice a month for 5 years now. Diane

I have been eating at this restaurant since the early 1990s. I don't eat the crab, too much work, but the prawns are wonderful with the same seasoning as the roasted crab. The Shaken Beef is too die for!!!!!

Exceeding Expectations

You wouldn't know it looking from the outside, but this restaurant is a delightful treat. From the OUTSTANDING food to the impeccable service, Thanh Long is a veteran of quality. I highly recommend the Saigon Beef (filet mignon with carmelized onions), Crab, and don't miss the Vietnamese Coffee - I'm hooked for life. Unforgetable, and easily one of my favorite restaurants.

When we want crab and garlic ...

Every appetizer was excellent, we tried them all, the crab was off the ricter scale, the garlic noodles and green beans and garlic are heaven on a plate. You wont be dissappointed, worth every penny.

Back for the 4th time

We hve recommended this restaurant to many friends after being treated by my nephew. Never have we had any disparraging remark and all have offered totake us there as a treat for introducing them.
