Now I don't know if it's because of the build up we've received from friends about this restaurant but it was definitely not as good as we expected. Now it was still good, but I wouldn't say it was the best crab I've ever had. We tried the Roasted and Drunken crabs. Of the 2, I prefered the Drunken crab as it was closer to a taste I was used too and no where near as buttery as the Roasted crabs. The noodles also were super-buttery and while butter is good I left my arteries hardening eating this meal with all the butter in it. I'd go back to try the Tamrind crabs but Thanh Long will definitely not fall into our regular restaurant rotation.

This restaurant is right in my neighborhood and the food is very good. The service is great. But I just can't bring myself to go very often because it seems like they charge too much for the type of food you are getting. Save this place for a special occasion, they are famous for their roasted crab and garlic noodles. Make a reservation as they are always busy, at least on the weekends.

Overall good place to eat. I've been going to this place for about 15 years. I've seen it change a lot. They have other things other than the crabs and the noodles, but the others are not what they are known for. Stick with the proven winners for this place

Best Crab house in the bayarea.This place use to be a hole in the wall,now its expanded its restaurant to accomodate more diner.Price have also increase several fold over the year.Baked Crab and Garlic Noodle is my favorite.

Smoked crab and garlic noodles is the type of food served in heaven. Delicious! Thanh Long has a fun welcoming, but sophisticated atmosphere and a friendly staff. You might need a fat wallet, but for the great food, its well worth it.

What can I say. The food is to die for. I always get the same thing everytime I go there. The Garlic Roasted Crab and the Garlic Noodles. These two items are simply fantastic. You leave the restaurant licking your fingers.

If you are looking for great seafood this is the place. Did I forget to mention this place is also romantic. We always order the garlic noodles, and the garlic crab, along with the crab puffs. The service is also wonderful. The staff place bibs on the women and had them to the men. The bring you hot towls to clean your hands when you are done. It's a bit expensive 80.00 dollars for twp people, less if you share a crab with a loved one. The price is well worth it.

Parking is the only dislikes I can say. Overall services, they are all above average to excellent.
