Aperto sets aside certain tables for walk-ins, if you do not see an available time for your reservation, please call the restaurant directly. Aperto is a small neighborhood Italian restaurant right in the heart of San Francisco's Potrero Hill. We are dedicated to serving the best seasonal, local and organic products that we can find and we feature Fulton Valley Poultry, organic Australian Lamb, local and wild caught fish. We take great pride in our food our service and our wines. Our menu changes with the season and we also offer great daily specials on our blackboard. We offer over 16 wines by the glass, as well as full and half bottle selections of domestic and Italian varietals. During the warmer times of the year we have an outside seating area where you can soak up the sun and take in the beautiful views of the city. Looking forward to seeing you soon!

There are so many restaurants in SF that going back is among the highest compliments. Aperto has been wonderful both time's I've eaten dinner there (haven't been for brunch yet). I took my parents last night, and it was perfect. Easy parking outside, quickly forgotten in the bowl of excellent soup and all the tasty entrees. I had the orchietta pasta with sausage, which I would order again without hesistation. The tagliolini with jalopenos and bacon is unique, rich and complex. It's worth a visit for those two dishes alone, but everything is equally great. (Also has the swordfish and duck.)

The food is rich - they're not afraid of cream and butter - but that's the way it should be, and they're made with enough attention that it's not burdonsom.

The food is fresh and tasty. This is a good pick when looking for some standard brunch food. Make sure you try the potatos.

Love this neighborhood place!

This is a local restaurant for us, and we love it. Nice to see the same dishes on the menu every time we go, as well as great specials and different desserts. It's a nice time out for a romantic meal as well, and we always go there for New Year's Eve (5 times running!!). They also have a really good Mexican brunch on the weekends. Never been disappointed by food or service here. Four stars in our book!

This place was excellent! I find a lot of Italian food in the city is bland, but this had a great variety of dishes and amazing flavors. Really top notch food. Make sure you save room for dessert! Can be very crowded and difficult to get a table on a weekend night since they don't take reservations for small groups.

An excellent small quiet date place, one of our personal favorites. We go often and have always found the food and service to be very good. Only downside is they don't take reservations.

Great Brunch at Aperto

Aperto is a great place for brunch. Have been there several times - the food is always fresh, the service always good. This past weekend I had the huevos con chorizo, which came with warm corn tortillas, black beans, and fresh avocado. The orange juice was freshly squeezed. My girlfriend had the chicken enchiladas which were also excellent.

Love this place

Last night we had a little anniversary dinner here and I couldn't believe it--I'd been for lunch and had a great salad, but the dinner specials were unbeatable. The butter lettuce salad was amazing, the dressing a perfect match for the sweet peas and almonds, and we both loved the halibut. The service was fantastic: friendly, warm, knowledgeable and right on track. I don't think my water glass ever sat empty for more than a minute--A definite favorite-if you've not been in a while, come back.
