Good place for german food in the south bay...

The Elbe is good place for german food in the south bay. They have what you would expect on the menu (Brats, Sauerkraut, Weiner Schnitzel, etc) and the service is really good. It's conveniently located right off University and Alma, so you should have no trouble finding it. If you have some extra time and can make it up to the city for German food, I would highly recommend Suppenkueche on Hayes and Laguna. They have some of the best German food I've eaten and even great bear to boot (they literally have a 5L boot of beer!). Prost - happy German food eating!

Good German Food

Since we're from Germany, but live here in the bay area we like to visit a German restaurant every now and then. This one has many authentic meals that taste very familiar. There was even a musician playing German Volksmusik when we visited on the weekend (our son liked it a lot).
