Only at Fresca will you find A Nouveau Peruvian Cuisine, a modernized style of Peruvian food crafted by Chef Jose Calvo-Perez, son of Julio and Zoila. We are proud to feature both traditional and A Nouveau Culinary styles in modernized presentations. We keep the Peruvian cuisine alive by keeping all traditional Peruvian ingredients and incorporating them into all our creations. Stop in and become a regular! Lot's of fun things going on here at Fresca and we want you to be a part of it. We have introduced a new weekend brunch menu and we are creating some new Happy Hour menus that will feature some of our fantastic wines and savory appetizers! Yum! Stop by and meet our new General Manager, Tony Rasmussen and welcome back our Chef, Manuel Rodriguez along with the rest of the team that makes Fresca on Fillmore a fabulous place to dine. Cheers!

The food there is soo good!! I love it, every time im around there I go there with my friends, the service is always fast and the personal try to be extra nice!! I totally recommend it - think of your taste buds!! :D

I've eaten at the West Portal and Fillmore locations, and have been very happy with the food. It is not completely authentic, as there is a bit of fusion done with the food. But the lomo saltado rocks, and the biftec ala parilla is very good as well, although I liked the biftec a lo pobre better.

I thought the lomo saltado was so darn good! The beef strips were so juicy ... it reminded me of my grandma's lomo saltado....I wanted to repeat but it was a little too expensive so I couldn't ! hahaha Our waiter was very friendly so we didn't have any service problems.

We called to make a reservation for 8 Peeps..they told us we had to make a reservation for 5 or 10 peeps..were totally non accomodating or flexible. This is stupid since the better restaurants are totally accommodating and flexible..who ever heard of dictating to the customer how many peeps they to reserve for..its the other way around..what are we supposed to do week out our dinner guests or invite peeps we dont want.. Sucky policy and none of us will ever eat there! Too many great restaurants in the City to put up with some Stupid BS Reservation policy!

I love love Fresca! I was totally pleased with the service we received and the food. Although I think this is more of a gourmet Peruvian place (they didn't have a wide variety of authentic dishes) the food is so delicious! I ordered the Charrasco and Sangria. This place is a must!

I went to Fresca's and sat at the bar which gave me an opportunity to watch my Sudado (Whole Red Snapper) being prepared. It looked so good while it was being prepared that I wanted to jump the counter and start snacking on the food before it even reached the table. When it finally did arrive it was every bit as good as it looked. The fish was prepared perfectly and the tomato sauce that came with it was extremely flavorful. For dessert, I order the Blue Corn Creme Brulee. I am a fanatic about my creme brulee and I was not dissapointed by any means. The only disappointment was the coffee. It could have been stronger and more full-bodied. Overall, I would highly recommend the place and look forward to going back to try the Churrasco.

Food was Poor. Entrees were the size of appetizers. Extremly small portions of food. The Waiters was more interested in talking to the women sitting at the bar. Over priced and not so delicious food. It is definately not peruvian food. Do not recommend this place to anyone. The burgers right next door at Harry's Bar is way better and filling than this place!!!!!!!

Peruvian Cuisine one of the most diverse in the world! in constant evolution...Fresca does a gastronomic fusion in blending all traditional ingredients.

I wouldn't go back!

I'm Peruvian and came all the way from UT because I had read good stuff about this restaurant. The food was OK. Definitely not as real Peruvian food. They overcharged us by 2 drinks (not refills) which we never ordered. Our waiter was pretty friendly ! We ordered 4 different plates, and the Lomo Saltado was good.

I love peruvian food, and I thought their pollo a la brasa was excellent. Their service was great; very attentive. Although, I must admit Limon has a tastier seafood selection. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to deviate from common foods!
