Only at Fresca will you find A Nouveau Peruvian Cuisine, a modernized style of Peruvian food crafted by Chef Jose Calvo-Perez, son of Julio and Zoila. We are proud to feature both traditional and A Nouveau Culinary styles in modernized presentations. We keep the Peruvian cuisine alive by keeping all traditional Peruvian ingredients and incorporating them into all our creations. Stop in and become a regular! Lot's of fun things going on here at Fresca and we want you to be a part of it. We have introduced a new weekend brunch menu and we are creating some new Happy Hour menus that will feature some of our fantastic wines and savory appetizers! Yum! Stop by and meet our new General Manager, Tony Rasmussen and welcome back our Chef, Manuel Rodriguez along with the rest of the team that makes Fresca on Fillmore a fabulous place to dine. Cheers!

The excellent food is worth every minute of waiting (45 minutes). The ceviches are a MUST! We had the rainbow trout and it was wonderful. The most popular dish seems to be the halibut, though. The restaurant is not too big, but the atmosphere is really great. We had a seat at the bar, so we could watch the chefs in action. It was quite an experience. The staff was very friendly. If you don

Poor basics

Unfortunately, had a bad time at dinner. Recommended wine was undrinkable and recommended appetizer was unedible. Food came out on cold plates - not cool, COLD. Way underdone fish. At least they comped dessert and another 2 glasses of wine.

Don't miss this gem!

The food is just fabulous. Don't miss their ceviche - it is the best ever. The Ahi with coconut milk, etc. is the best I have ever had. Fish specials are great, too. For non-fish lovers, the other dishes are great too. The steak over frites is a favorite for my husband.

I LOVE FRESCA !!!

This restaurant is the best ! Every time I visit my brother in Pacific Heights, I come to Fresca for Ceviche or one of their killer salads ! The service is always good, and the Peruvian Beer always hits the spot! I love this restaurant !!!

Favorite in the City

We live around the corner and love this place. The food is excellent. This is by far my favorite restaurant in the city. The staff are very friendly, the atmosphere is fun, and the prices are reasonable. The only downside is that it gets pretty crowded now so make reservations, and dress like you're going to Vegas in the summer, it is really hot in there. As long as you know that though, you will love it. I took my Dad there about 6 months ago wen he was in town and he still talks about it.

Food was Poor. Entrees were the size of appetizers. Extremly small portions of food. The Waiters was more interested in talking to the women sitting at the bar. Over priced and not so delicious food. It is definately not peruvian food. Do not recommend this place to anyone. The burgers right next door at Harry's Bar is way better and filling than this place!!!!!!!

Horrible Food and Service

I waited a long time to be seated. No one seemed to care. The food was greasy and it tasted bland. The waiter was also clumsy. I do not recommend this restaurant.

Fresca the place to eat

Me and my wife had dinner there. The service was friendly and most attuned to the customer. Our server was Juan. The food was perfect Starters: samplers of marinated seafood (most excellent) presented on three tiers one on top of the other. Lamb chops done to perfection. (very tasty) Desert and Coffee made for one of the most delightful nights out in San Francisco. Well worth a visit.

Fresca was a great find

I lived around the corner from Fresca and loved to take all my friends and family of all ages there. The food is great and different. Everyone could always find something to their liking and never had a compliant about the meal. Note that if loud restaurants frustrate you, this one is a bit noisy, but the atmoshere is great.
