Cha Cha Cha

Description

At Cha Cha Cha, do not be discouraged when the host announces it will be an hour for a table. It is worth the wait. Authentic Santeria altars and strange artifacts adorn the walls. World music transports you to a foreign land. The Calamari with Garlic Aioli, Spicy Roasted Potatoes, and Grilled Plantains are highly recommended. There is another location at 2327 Mission Street.

Fantastic!!!

The Sangria! Eat the grapes, they make you happy!!! I was told this by one of the bartenders, she was right. Wow... The grapes make you happy... They also make you accidentaly give a homeless man $10 on the way back to your house.

Try it, you'll like it.

The salad was perfect, and the bbq pork sandwich was the best. This is a great date meal. We will stop in next time while in S.F.

Better bar than a restaurant
By ,
The tapas are bar food at best. We had the calamari, bbq pork quesadilla, cajun shrimp and chicken wings. Great atmosphere, can get too crowded on weekends so weekenights are a better time to go.

Great experience. Can not wait to return.
By ,
I...love this place. A couple friends took me to Cha Cha Cha's for my birthday - what a treat! Prepare to be surrounded by cordial and refined waitstaff and awesomely funky decor from floor to ceiling. The seating is a little snug so the restaurant would be most enjoyed in small groups. Most dishes come with a distinctly different kind of flavor and/or spiciness or a rich mouth-watering sauce. I do not know the name of the dish but try the warm Spinach salad - it is excellent. The Prawns and Potatoes are tasty as well. A pitcher of Sangria is a must but they are hefty so it is best to be shared between two or more people. The wait is long but well worth it as the food and ambiance over all is...fantastic. Cha Cha Cha's is now one of my favorites. I will definetley frequent this restaurant again and again.

You can count on CHA CHA CHA for some good food and drinks and a lively atmosphere especially on weekends. It gets packed sometimes so be prepared.

Cha Cha Cha in the Haight-'the original'
By ,
It's a bit loud at times, but the best place I can think of to go to with a group of friends when you want awesome sangria. Their food is good too and has some vegetarian options (Their potatoes are awesome!). I can't even describe the ambience of the one in the Haight, you have to see it to believe it. Fun!

A fun place to take out-of-towners
By ,
Fun, loud (sometime a bit too loud...) and the best sangrias this side of Little Havana! The food isn't bad, either - perfect for sharing among friends. Not recommended for a first-date venue...

Sangria
By ,
I love this place because of the Sangria. It's the best! I try to take as many people there so they too can experience it as well.
