he Original Floating Sushi--Creative + Fun watch the sushi float by + choose what catches your eye! I recommend ordering some of the chef s original creative sushi rolls like Bonito topped asparagus, mountain vegetable + cream cheese (smoky flavors + creamy texture) just superb! Save room for dessert as their Lychee or Mangosteen coconut cream deserts great to go! Lots of sakes to choose from. King crab served in avocado cup great presentation!

Good heavens their quality has gone down significantly in the past years! I believe they were recently bought out and by the selection passing by, you would think you went into a Korean restaurant instead. Virtually 85% of the food passing by was prepared in some sort of way (not fresh) and there seemed to be a profusion of kim chee on everything too. Enough is enough. I'm never going here again.

i love this sushi boat compared to others, their slices of sashimi are very big. everything they have are really fresh. i come here almost once a week. very good stuff. but do expect to wait a while during dinner time becuase its a pretty small place.

I just remember having a cattipillar roll there and it practically melted in mouth, it was so good. Also I recomend the salmon and yellow tail, two of my favorites. The salmon and yellow tail were not too fishy tasting and the portions were large.You cannot beat the location either. Its right on the way to the beach. Finally, it was my birthday so the saki bombs were ordered and they kept on coming. Our group got a little rowdy, but they took good care of us. They put us in a nice corner and let us have a good time. They constantly filled up our water glasses and never let us run out of there great sushi. The ambiance is nice and dark and the miso soup was great, not to salty. I recomend this place to anyone, if you are alone, on a date or with a large group.

I enjoy the way they arrange the sushi. Each little dish is placed on a wooden sushi boat and float in front of you. As soon as you sit down, you can start enjoying the food! No need to wait! And the selection of sushi is abundent!

Great variaty of sushi and sashimi presented on colorful plates that float around in circles on little boats in a bar style setting. It's is great ot see how clean the chef is and how the food is prepared right there. The plum wine is incredible. Service very good.

A nice casual place to enjoy a big variety of sushi. FRESH and tasty. The parking is not bad....there is a parking lot beneath of the shopping center. The prices are good too. Right in the heart of japan town so, you can shop and walk around after lunch/dinner. You can even walk to the Kabuki theatres and see a movie.

kintetsu no rengai is the one strip of hall way with all the japanese restaurants are. I went to isobune twice in my entire life. and i am a very very picky eater, especially when it comes to sushi. since i am japanese, and i am trying to become a sushi chef, i wouldnt say this place would be in my list of best japanese food/sushi. sushi there is pretty and colorful i guess, but thats not the whole reason i really enjoy eating sushi. its all about their fish, and their rice. fish are dry sometimes, and the rice are too big sometimes. its comes and goes. sometime, their salmon is awasome, and second later, i tried their tuna, it didnt feel like it was fresh. i might be too picky, but look, i am a real japanese from japan. you gotta trust me. if you wanna be all fashinable, juss go there and take a look. their sushi actually look pretty.
