We can't wait to get out !!
We (a Vietnamese gourmet cook) went with a friend from England who enjoyed our foods tremendously. We were totally disappointed. The place is loud, pretentious and the foods were lousy. Simple thing like a roll was poorly executed - not rolled tightly and the stuffing was falling out as you dipped them in the sauce. Furthermore, they tried too hard to fit some strange palate - the payaya salad did not have the balanced taste of steamed pork and poached prawns (and worse yet - did not have the proper Thai basil...). We ordered the grilled pork and the pork was still raw (beyond pink...). The duck was ok and so was the Dungeness crab vermicelli noodles - too overwhelmed with sesame oil. The music was loud and the patron was pretentious. The price was outrageous for the quality and we WILL NOT come back.
By the way, go to Le Colonial - Cosmo place and Jones. The place reminded me of a proper, high quality, classy (e.g. colonial) Vietnamese restaurant that you would find in Da Lat.
