Canton Seafood & Dim Sum House
The decor at Canton Seafood & Dim Sum House is sleek and contemporary with Asian accents and huge windows on both floors. It is the food, though, that packs in the Financial District types as well as families and tourists. The menu features authentically prepared Cantonese delights with specials, such as tasty smoked sea bass, steamed catfish, clams in black bean sauce, and a wonderful array of dim sum treats served in the afternoon. The wait staff is quick, efficient and expert in dealing with the crowds that converge here at peak hours.
The best dim sum I ever had! Once you try it tou can't stop thinking about it. The next day when I woke up, I'm already craving for it. Also dinner (lunch is great too) are highly recommended there. Who knows that a reastaurant can have breakfast, lunch, and dinner tasting so good. Most restuarants are famous for only one thing but Canton have it all.
Good take out place, too bad they do not deliver. Parking can be a nightmare!! Overall food is good, specializing in seafood. If you are looking for a good dim sum place, I would go to Yang Sing nearby instead. For dinner, definitely here!!!
Pale colors and huge size of main dining room immediately remind of the high school cafeteria. Public high school, I mean. Most regular menu dishes are very uneventful. Some Dim-Sum entries where better than expected, though.
