I've only had prime rib in a few places, but I have to say this place is the best by far.
They start you off with a salad, which the waiter spins and tosses for you. I love the dressing that the use - I've never quite figured out what's in it, but it's awesome. Then they give you your choice of potato, creamed spinach or corn, and some Yorkshire pudding, to go with your prime rib. I always get the creamed spinach; it fills you up very quickly, but it's so rich and good. The Yorkshire pudding has grown on me over the few times I've been to House of Prime Rib; I like the egg-y flavor and the way it tastes when it soaks up all of the juices from the prime rib.
As for the prime rib itself, I usually get the English cut, which is thinner than the normal one; personally, I think it tastes better that way. I slather a ton of the stronger horseradish on each bite (which grosses out my boyfriend) - the experience is priceless. The best part? The whole thing for less than 40 bucks a person, not including tax, tips, and drinks.
The service is impeccable, the restaurant is clean (almost a regal atmosphere), and the food is wonderful. I can't afford to come all the time, but I'm definitely coming back sometime in the next few months.
