Description

Opened in 1984, Harris' Restaurant is one of the leading steakhouses. The restaurant features four dining rooms and a bar. Its main dining room features plush booths, high ceilings, brass chandeliers, skylights and a painting by local artist Barnaby Conrad. The restaurant s menu includes a variety of appetizers, side dishes, salads and desserts. It additionally offers a selection of wines, including zinfandel, chardonnay, sauvignon blanc, cabernet sauvignon, pinot noir and merlot. Harris' Restaurant has a butcher counter, which provides aged, Midwestern, corn-fed steaks in a variety of cuts. It is located in San Francisco and organizes live music programs.

Great salads with great people! I really love this place because of the fine services that the offer and give to the paying customers. Go here, it will be worth it.

Very good food but the prices are a little high. Family of 5 and the bill was a little heavy. The streaks are excellent.

We just celebrated my uncle's 90th birthday here. Best steak in the West!! Appetizers were to die for and filet mignon cooked to buttery perfection. A wonderful place to have a group party. The service was impeccable.

I recently took associates to Harris Steakhouse in San Francisco to celebrate a night out. Our server was extremely impersonal and we were very disappointed with the service as we felt continuously rushed throughout our meal. The food was just okay. I spoke to Michael Fiskus, the manager, and he dismissed me as a nuisance. I won't go here again and do not recommend it.

Great from the moment we arrived until we left....

I was looking for a steak and seafood restaurant in S.F. to celebrate my husband's birthday. I read several of the reviews for this restaurant and decided to make a reservation. It was great from the very get go. We arrived right at 7pm and they seated us immediately in a nice booth near the bar. We could hear the jazz music in the background the entire time which set a very romantic mood. The food was excellent! We had the 2.5 lb. lobster to share and then we each had our own steaks. The blueberry peach cobbler alamode was wonderful. This is a great restaurant for a special occasion. Pricey.

My fiance and I recently went to Harris Steakhouse in San Francisco to celebrate our six year anniversary, and were expecting a romantic night but sadly, this was not the case. Our server was extremely impersonal and we were very disappointed with the service as we felt continuously rushed throughout our meal. The food was just okay, and in fact my fiance became sick during dinner, and couldn't even eat his food. This was all dismissed, and the server/restaurant did nothing to better accommodate us. We will definitely not visit this establishment again, and do not recommend it for a romantic night out.

Old school steakhouse at its best.

Hands down this is my favorite steakhouse in SF. Its the perfect place to take a guest or two you want to impress. Impressive quality and service to match. My favorite here is the classic Filet Migon.

Do not bother going anywhere else

I love going to Harris'. Been going for an awesome steak for the last 11 years. Love to eat in the bar area as it is not so hushed and the live music is great. I've never been disappointed. OMG, the dish with the toppings for your baked potato! Excellent Martinis!!!!! We have taken our well behaved 2 YO and many others who come to visit.
