Not bad - though they've started using only onions instead of peppers and other vegetables in quite a few of their dishes. Don't expect much beyond grunts and surly looks from most of the staff though.

cute thai place on polk
By ,
food is good (not too salty which is a good thing), the prices are reasonable and the restaurant is cool looking inside, allowing for a really pleasant casual dinner.

Nice Neighborhood Thai Fix
By ,
Every so often I need a Thai fix. Different spices, different soups, and different salads. Atmosphere is important too. For a similar amount of money, why not have ambience and service too!

Yummy Good and Affordable, Too!

This place has great food at great prices. It's a family owned and operated place and their attention to detail shows. Try the gay pad himali, it's to die for!

I'm down for Thai
By ,
This place looks great because they just remodeled. I always order their barbeque beef and and the peanut sauce chicken. I think their peanut sauce taste the best man.

I miss their food
By ,
I love their duck curry and the sweet chilli seafood dish. They weren't too spicy and the tastes were perfect. But now I am living out of the city and really miss them. I will definitely visit them when I'm back to SF and have fried banana ice-cream for dessert. Yumm!!

You won't need another Thai restaurant
By ,
I'm drooling about Thai Spice as I'm writing this review. The dishes are truly amazing. They're mercilessly tasty and I can't get enough! The pad thai and green mango salad are perhaps the best dishes on the menu. I've been eating here regularly for a year and I can never get enough.

yes the food here is good but the the 3 times ive been there i have had some issues with the staff.first trip there was for take out i ordered #1 on the menu i got vegetarian rolls in stead but the #102 on the menu was great. second visit a phone in order for#42 with shrimp i got chicken and had to listen to the lady that took the order swear i asked for chicken. mind me the customer is always right. and now for the last straw so its sunday i dont feel lke cooking so of course i think of the best thai food with the worst service in the city. i call them up and i get hello thai spice i say id like to make an order for pick up. hold on i am told ok so i did for 15 min only to hear someone pick up the phone listen and hand up. so i called back 5 times all to the machine u think the guy who answered the first time knew he was wrong? so finally an answer by the same rude mf saying im very busy dont hang up this time i said man pls u hung up on me. of course he did not admit it but when i went in to get my food u could see he had messed up looking all ugly and stuff. he was lucky i was having a nice day off any way we all have those kinda days the food was still great and i will return because untill someone takes their crown thai spice got it going on food wise so go check them out maybe they treat u better if u eat there.
