Description

Old World charm prevails at this intimate spot with an inviting marble fireplace, intricately carved wood accents, and exquisite service from a well-trained and unobtrusive wait staff. Enjoy daily specials and regular menu items such as Sauteed Salmon on a bed of creamy Saffron Risotto, hearty medallions of beef in a meticulously prepared wine sauce as well as a seasonal variety of pastas. For dessert there are tempting offerings with a rich take on Tiramisu as well as a decadent Chocolate Creme Brulee. The wine list is outstanding with vintages from Europe and California.

Sensational! Food and service was exceptional. Although we were full we just had to try the creme brulee after reading reviews about it, and we were glad we did! The best ever!!

On our last night there my husband wanted some good itlian food. We ask at our hotel the Grand Hyatt and this was one on their list. It was the best resturant we had eaten at in our two trips there. We fell in love with the place. If I ever get to go back I will go to Fino's

A bustling little Italian restaurant in the Andrews Hotel. I've never had a bad meal in what we consider a great little find. One of the best Caesar salads anywhere, with tons of cheese. Also great Pasta dishes.

Fresh seasoning and ingredients. Pasta carciofini had an interesting burnt tastes probably due to a lot of sun dried tomatoes. Very good zablione. The price to food value ratio is very good. A good selection of interesting salads. The wine list matches the stronger flavors of some of the dishes. This is place is very different from the current trend in East Coast Italian American cuisine. Service & recommendations from the waiter were first rate.

They have the best pizza dough. It melts in your mouth. The pasta was cooked perfectly as I hate mushy or crunchy pasta at restaurants. The salads were very generous and delicious. Actually, all the portions were very generous so you may want to share. The service was exceptional and timed perfectly, which is one of my pet peeves when the next plate arrives as the last one is taken away. Very relaxing, delicious dinner.

Delicious food, and a very friendly and helpful staff. My salmon dish was quite good, and my date enjoyed the three-cheese ravioli. There were a few unique deserts that were praised by everyone who tried them while we were there. We tried the signature chocolate creme brulee, which we quite enjoyed. There was a friendly atmosphere, with discussion of dishes (particularly deserts) between tables in the small dining area. Excellent service.

Our favorite restaurant in SF!

Fino was recommended to us by a local hotel. We have been back twice. Great food, atmosphere and fabulous service. Megan, the hostess, gave us driving directions when we were running late and called in. Charles was a great waiter; very attentive but not bothersome. We want to recommend this to others but also don't want the world to know about our hidden gem!
