Nick's Crispy Taco's, San Francisco

Everyone seems to know this taqueria by what it is at night - Harry Denton's Rouge - than by what it is by day/evening. Nick's Crispy Tacos makes great cheap eats, though... two tacos for one definitely fills you up. Have an horchata while you wait!

Nick's Crispy Tacos? YES PLEASE. I grew up in Los Angeles and lived in San Diego for 14 years, I love and know tacos. From the great taco places like Tito's Tacos in LA, to the 'bertos of San Diego, I have had them all. Nick's Crispy Tacos takes it to a completely new level. The tacos are small (more like traditional Mexican tacos) with one fried tortilla wrapped with a soft tortilla (to keep you from making a complete mess) and then filled with some beans (your choice), meat of your choice, lettuce, cheese, salsa fresca, and guacamole if you get them Nick's Way...which you will have to. They are off the charts. I have a friend who is in pharmaceutical sales and lives in Sacramento, evey time he is within 50 miles of the city he calls me in advance and asks if I want to go there.
