Treat yourself to our very authentic Brazilian steakhouse. Our salad bar/hot buffet features extraordinary fresh salads as well as delicious Brazilian hot dishes. Also enjoy our homemade cheese bread (pao de queijo). But the best is yet to come! Flip the metal wheel on your table to green, out comes a barrage of meats, beef, lamb, pork, chicken, shrimp, and homemade Brazilian sausage. All carved tableside by our meat servers dolled up in traditional gaucho wear.
I went for my birthday at this place and the treat me and my friends really bad becouse we went there with way too many people...lol!
After paid them a lot money they still make me feel bad for bringing over 2000 dollars to the restaurant...I will never go back there for my birthday...The waiter were very rude!
I've been to a couple of other churrascarias (Houston, TX and Glendale, CA) so I know what to look for. I went with a party of 8 for Sunday lunch. It's a small and cozy place, but I'm looking forward to when they expand the restaurant to the space next door.
The food: Unfortunately, out of all the meats available, the best one I had was the grilled shrimp and pork tenderloin. Their cuts of steak (Prime rib, top sirlion, roast beef, beef tenderloin) tasted a little gamey and dry. Only the garlic beef, parmesan coated prime rib, and lamb were decent for seconds. Unfortunately, they only had 3 gauchos serving food, to a full lunch crowd at their restaurant. So, what ended up happening was we got visited by the gaucho carrying chicken hearts, 4 TIMES. I will give them credit to the vast selection of meats that they served, which I presume supports the $37/person price, but they need to learn to cook the meats better. I've had better Picanhas at the other two restaurants. The salad bar was decent, although they only thing I touched were the beans and rice. I save my stomach space for MEAT.
Service was great, as the wait staff was very friendly and attentive. I would go back, but considering this is the only churrascaria in the Bay Area, I guess I have no choice.
This place is GREAT! I was in San Francisco on business a few weeks ago with my fiance and friends and this place was just perfect!. We ate so much food I thought I was going to burst. The service was great! Only complant I can think of is that the place is really small and even though it wasn't packed the day we went but If it is.. expect to be rubbing elbows with the people next to you, but I have heard they are knocking out the wall next door and expanding (this will help ALOT). I'm moving out to SF early next year and I can see my fiance, friends and I visiting often.
whenever i have a craving for a quality all-meat lunch/dinner, i can't help walking into this place. most cuts of meat are delicious, but they are a bit skimpy on the shrimp though. oh, they have a decent salad bar too. a little bit on the pricey side, but then i only want to eat that much meat once every other month anyway, so that really isn't an issue to me. except for 1 or 2, most of the waiters there are very friendly and nice. won't think twice to go back.
I was told that I should only eat the meats and not the salads. My friends were wrong. The salads were delicious too! They served many kinds of meat, from beef, lamb, fish, sausage, chicken, pork to shrimp. It was a buffet style, but they brought each kind of meat to your table and sliced the portion you needed. Placed the card to green and grabbed more food, or placed the card to red to indicate no more food for now :D i loved pineapple and they served it like meat and sliced it fresh too. Good food but expensive. It was $37 flat rate per person for dinner. I will go there again with absolutely empty stomach ;P
