Eat Here Now
My girlfriend and I were having an argument the first time I went to L' Ottavo. We stopped by a grocery store and each picked out a bottle of wine. By the end of the meal we were reconciled and quite happy that we chose to eat there.
We are married now and have gone back many many times.
The crab bisque rocks. It only listed on the specials of the day menu, but they serve most all the time. It's best when they're having a slow night because it will arrive at your table before the layer of film forms. Either way though is quite delicious.
Another home run featured on the specials menu, but served most all the time, is the Red Snapper. Never overcooked, served with a light white wine lemon sauce, grilled veggies and mashed potatoes.
Of course, don't forget to order a bottle of wine. Their prices are fair or bring your own wine and pay the corkage fee.
