I ve been at this location twice for Mother s day. I know it s a busy, hectic time, but they never got it right. I ordered the Blackberry-Ginger ale and it just tasted like carbonated water. I sent it back twice to have more Blackberry syrup added and it still tasted awful. I order this drink all the time at the Milpitas location so I know what it tastes like. Then I ordered the 8 oz prime rib (my usual). It was so thin and looked to be about 4 oz in size. I got more meat from a hamburger. When I tried the prime rib sandwich, it tasted like soap! This place is awful! I will never eat here again.
It was worth trying, but definitely a one time visit only. My guest and I were quite surprised when our steaks came to the table. They seemed small then what we had envisioned them to be. We were a little disappointed. I think the best think was the bread. It was delicious.
The waiter was okay, but a little annoying. 65.00 for two, not worth it!
I think we'll try the Outback next.
(ps The seating arrangement wasn't very good. It seemed like they shoved everybody into one area. When they had so many tables available. Don't they know that couples like a little privacy! Definitely not romantic.
Just to top it off we had no knives to eat our steaks with, and the waiter was nowhere to be found, I had to go snatch it off another table.
It's just not worth the money. Should have made the meal at home.
The first time there, the wait staff was so slow and messed up the order. The second time, the waiter looked as if he was so high, he walked passed our table 5 times before we asked him who are waiter was and it was him!!! The service was very lousy and the orders kept getting mixed up. The food was good, but terrible service. Not going back!
Bathrooms were dirty and in bad shape.
The steak was very fatty and bland.
The french fries were greasy and there weren't very many.
The salad and bread were ok.
Overall, it was way overpriced and I will not be going back there.
We are a party of 4 people. We started with the sampler for appetizer. It was not bad although quite expensive. My husband had prime trio which he said was ok. I had the sirloin and shrimp combo and I think it was ok too since it only costs $20. My son had the lobster tail and my daughter had the lobster and sirloin combo. They were both satisfied. The strange thing was my son had only the lobster tail and it costs $29 while my daughter's lobster and sirloin costs $31. It seemed that the sirloin costs only $2 since the lobster tails were each 10 oz. The soup was lukewarm; it was not hot enough for me and my daughter, but my son thought it was fine. We also had cheesecake, mud pie and fudge cake. The fudge cake was too big and too sweet so we could not finish. The cheesecake and the mud pie were okay. The waiter was friendly and attentive. We had to wait a while for the bread, but it was tasty.
I'm a Wings and Ribeye guy preferring $40 and up steaks from Wolfgang Pucks, Ruth Chris, etc, but still think $20 are acceptable...
Appetizer: Chipolte Wings - awful... Looked good when presented but they had been reheated and the meat was mostly dark/black.
Main Course: 12oz $21 Rib Eye, Medium Rare - Grey, bland, but served hot. Awful, not as bad as Applebees Ribeye, but leagues below Outback, LoneStar, Texas Roadhouse, or Long Horn which are at the same price range. Steak is worth $9-10.
I'm amazed that the owners would create such a great place and serve such bad food/hire such a bad wait staff. My waitress came to my table 10 minutes after I was eating my steak to make sure I had received it. Not to mention I had to request silverware (twice) and had to get up and find a waiter to get a steak knife.
Horrible, horrible, horrible place! The food was absolutely disgusting, way over-priced, hairy and far from fresh. The waiter was using foul language and did not EVER come back to our table once the food was served until he presented the bill. My family will never, EVER, return to this terrible place.
