This is one of those places you have to go to at least once for dessert - and make sure you don't have dinner before-hand so you can make the most of that brownie sundae..... and once you've done it - you know its worth it
The ambience is ok... I personally enjoy loud places where you are not afraid to be loud and laugh. It's a lot more quiet than places I'm used to (I'm half Italian half Mexican, so we have a tendency to be loud). The views of the city are beautiful.. especially at night. The food is great too
Best place for strawberry martini's and cheesecake

Great place to hang out with good friends. They have the best fancy martini's and then of course there is the cheesecake. It can get a bit crowded on weekends, so if you are looking for a quiet romantic spot, you may want to skip this one.
Location, view, ambience, atmosphere .. all great.
Now the bad..
Long wait times, and so-so food. I'll describe the dishes we had:
Angel hair pasta: quite salty, ate 20% of it and left it. I would have saved it for the homeless, but I didn't want anyone to share my pain
Shepards Pie: beef with mashed potoatoes 'placed' ontop is not the Shepards pie I remember. I think we finished 10% of it
The Cheesecake factory in Seattle was delicious, this one is SF has serious chef issues. My advice, go there for drinks only and you'll have a GREAT time!
Can you say cheese cake? The CF in San Francisco is the best one around. We were there last weekend and the food is awesome. We got a cheese cake and it was outragously good. This place gets super crowded, so go early for lunch or dinner, otherwise you'll be standing around waiting to get seated.
This restaurant is fairly overpriced! The food is just average. The ambience is quite nice. You have a nice view over Union Square especially at night!
We had to wait nearly an hour. Becaused we expected something special and didn
