Ristorante Portofino, Pacifica

on Aug 16,2010, we went for dinner at this restaurant due to we are staying on that location of BW Lighthouse motel.Part of my family went first,5 adults and 1 child, right away the waiter told them that they will be charge at least 18% tip for a table of 6. My self with my wife and her sister come 45 min.later,I order my dinner and my wife and her sister order a dinner to share, and the waiter say we have to pay $6 more for share one meal,the problem comes because my other family have to waite another 45 min for thei food,anyhow the price is too high and we have to waite 30 min for our beers,we will not be back.

I have to say, my experience has been spotty. Sometimes service is OK, but often not. Food is the same. The bar service is very good, but the restaurants is less than wonderful.

Another fabulous restaurant with good service, great views, decent prices and David the bartender is a sweetheart....really...that isn't the booze talkin' either!!! I highly recommend for any meal of the day!

Ok, me and my wife been married for a year. We are on a mission to explore different restaurants through out the bay area. If there is a good restaurant, we go eat there. After trying hundreds of restaurants, we keep coming back to this place. It is a lot better than the Cliff House which have similar settings. The menu is quite comprehensive of all Italian dishes you can imagine. The view is amazing and they treat you like a king there. Hope this helps

THIS PLACE IS SPECTACULAR! FOOD IS A 9.5 OUT OF 10 MY WIFES USUALY GETS THE TRI COLOR PASTA IT IS FANTASTIC I CALIMARI CRISP AND TENDER IV ALSO HAD THE RIB EYE WOW SUPER TENDER AND FLAVERFUL YOU CAN NOT BEAT THIS PLACE THEIR SERVICE IS IMPECABLE ITS OS OUR FAVORITE AND WILL BE YOURS TOO EVEN THE VEGTABLES ARD GREAT THE DO SOMTHING WITH SPINICH YOU WONT BELEIVE

great food, great ambiance, great service, great view of the ocean..........a perfect evening! Nothing could have made it better........

This restaurant not only has excellent service and great food but a gorgeous view of the ocean from most tables.
