Sneakers Burgers: Great burgers and a good selection of draught beer (~8-10) at any given time - Newcastle, Bass, Stella, etc. Good atmosphere and though often crowded, the wait is never too long. I rarely experiment outside of the burgers - from my pov, definitely a burger and beer spot. Right in downtown San Carlos, it sports a good long bar and a bunch of TV's. Service is pretty bad, but atmosphere and food make up for it.
This is a great neighborhood sports bar/restaurant for those nights when you're hungry but not sure what for. The menu covers just about everything from soups and salads to sandwiches and burgers to burritos and tacos to pizzas and steaks. (And anything I left out is probably on the menu, too.) The food is pretty consistent..but I've noticed the service can sometimes be slow. It's very loud especially when a big game is on. There are TV's situated at every booth and projection style ones displayed near the ceiling. There is often a wait but the tables seem to open up relatively quickly. This is a great place for kids as they could be as loud as they want and children's menus are provided. However, they are just miniature versions of adult menus so they don't come with crayons. Enjoy!
