El Charro Restaurant, South San Francisco

$8 for guacamole chip dip, no thanks. Had to cut the tip in half as a result. Food was average. Service was friendly, though I don't enjoy being ripped off. Won't be visiting this place again...

i followed the review for this resturant and ordered food for take out. I was shocked to find my bill came to $63.00 for four meals. They charged 1.50 per container as well as the dinner price whichh is a total rip off. The food was sub par I will never never eat here again

This resturant has an ol mexican feel to it... the service was really nice.. and attended to us really quickly and this was during lunch hours... there chips and salsa are fantastic very authentic!!! I was a little disappointed with the size of the drink.. i ordered a sprite and it came in this small glass with a coffee stirer stick as a starw.. and the drink was 2 bucks... but anyways i had the chile verde which is cooked tender pork chunks with verde sause... very authentic i loved there rice and beans which reminded me on how my mom use to cook it... If you are looking for a sit down place and are craving mexican home cooked meals .. this is your place.. the average price for a meal there not including drinks was about 10 bucks...

Although this is a Mexican Restaurant they also have a small Bolivian menu. There are some great typical Bolivian dishes that are fantastic.
