this is our favorite thai place in the mid peninsula. the food can be as authentic (or not) as you want it. there are many different dishes on the menu and they will make it as hot as you want it.

Our favorite restaurant in RWC!

They recognize us by now. I am a big fan of green curry and they do an excellent job. The employees are so friendly and always stop by to chat. They have their anniversary in August and offer special deals. It is not the best Thai food in the world but definitely the best in the Redwood City Area!

I love this restaurant. Best Thai food I've ever had. I love their mango prawns, fried calamari, fried bananas, Thai ice tea and everything else I've tried there. I love this place!!!

Not worth it

I went here one day for lunch and it was reasonably priced and had very quick service, but the food wasn't that great. I don't think I was able to finish all I would have if the food had tasted better.

Outstanding thai food

This is our go-to place for dinners that are delicious but casual. Everything on the menu is great, from the calamari salad to thai curries to veggie dishes. Also great for takeout. Best Thai I've had in the peninsula.

Good quality Thai food

I've eaten at Bangkok Bay several times and it's always been really good. The Kom Ka Gai soup, mango shrimp and green curry were great. Lunches are pretty reasonably priced. Last time, we had a group (8) which was no problem. Service was very good, but it was a Monday night and very quiet.

the food and service are great. You have to try their Meang Kam appetizer, it's a wonderful combination of flavors.
