Place is way small. Too small if anyone else shows up. Service is not bad just reminds me of the school cafateria. had to sit outside, paper plates blew away and pizza with it. Pizza not worth it as their are many other places close by.
We ordered by the slice. The thin crust was good but the slices didn't have enough cheese and sauce like the real authentic NY pizza. (I should know because I was born and raised in NYC.) Maybe next time we'll order the entire pie ($14) and add extra cheese.
at least, for the places I've tried :) two slices and a soda for five bucks, and it tastes like you're in the village. If you like flat, floppy pizza with a crisp crust and just one or two toppings plus cheese and sauce, don't miss this place. The *only* downside is that there's no delivery for anything but big custom orders. It's just a hole in the wall, and it's always crowded, but deservedly so.
In fact, nearly the best pizza I've had west of the Appalachians - always consistent and fairly priced. The service is fast and professional and the shop is clean. It gets a bit crowded, but thats always a good sign. A few more flavors would be great, but if you like good, solid thin crust pizza, Speederia can't be beat in the area.
