I love this restaurant, they have the best customer service. I went after i read the reviews and to be honest if you want the best n fast service around you should go to Chins. I had the Wonton Noodle soup and the Shrimp Kung Pou, you get what you pay for and more.... I love this rest. anyone who reads this you should consider going don't think twice.
Wow, what a restaurant. When I walked in, there were only three other people in the restaurant and they were leaving, so, I was a little nervous. My fears were aleved rather quickly when I saw how clean the place was. The waitress was very friendly, she promptly took my order and brought me out my drink and the best sweet and sour soup I've ever had. I had the fried shrimp appetizer which was very good and got the fried rice and general's chicken for my meal, I got enough rice and chicken for at least two meals. The chicken was delicious. When dinner was over, the waitress brought me out a little bowl of ice cream, a mint, and a fortune cookie. I will definately be frequenting their restaurant and you should too.
Last week after i left the movie theater i went to Chin's. I tried the Meat Pie for an appetizer and ordered a Wor Wonton Soup. I meat pie was delicious i had to eat every piece of it. Wor wonton soup was filling. A great and friendly service. Price is right. I think it's one of the best around Redwood City. I strongly suggest to try the Meat Pie. d(^_^)b Two thumbs up.
So shocked this place could get more than 2 stars. Food is so sub-par. I have Chinese probably every 1.5-2 weeks and usually at different restaurants so I do know what I am talking about when I say this place's food is below average in quality and flavor. Though not quite a greasy spoon...it's not far off. I ordered the only tofu dish on the entire menu and it was very bland. I could tell the broccoli had been frozen as thawed broc is mushy like this was. My girl ordered the shrimp fried rice. She got enough to feed 5 people, but it was very bland. We ordered the hot & sour soup which was by far the worst I have ever had! Soooo much soy sauce in it that it was root beer colored and had a weird odor. Too much vinegar and just bad over all. Even their fortune cookies were bad! Friendly service, but awful food. Way too many Chinese restaurants in the area to settle for this place & if u dine here u r settling!
My boy friend and I tried the chef special meat pie, it was amazing. We've never had that before in Chinese restaurants. I also tried Walnut Prawns and it was delicious as well. The prices are reasonable and great service.
Excellent Chinese food. My wife says its the best Chinese she has ever had (she's a really big fan of the Hot and Sour soup). I'd definitely rank it up there. Their chef is from one of the 4 Hunan restaurants in the city. The chow mein is unbelievable. Great people too. Very friendly.
