Description

23 Club, founded in 1941 in Brisbane, is almost as old as the city itself. During the great gold rush, this club used to be a regular haunt of gold miners and local residents alike. Many a famous performer including Johnny Cash and Patsy Cline have performed here and are enshrined in the walls of the club. Today it features every kind of music from Latino and Salsa to Honky Tonk and Hip Hop.

We use to go to the 23 Club when the Demarco's owned it and their son John Jr. bartended there with Red and Lenny it was great they had a great band and we all had alot of fun back in the day, we looked forward to going there on Fridays and Saturday nights (miss the good times and friends)

the famouse 23 club in Brisbane, is famous for country singers such as Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, Loretta Lynn, Dolly Parton, and many-many more. The club has live bands Friday and Saturdays, Karaoke on Thursdays. The clubs sound system is ausome! nearly 6000 watts of power with a 32 channel mixer board, a large stage and dance floor. A new attraction to the club is a Pizza Parlor, and wow, i have to say its a very good pizza.
