As an employee there I was treated quite poorly. Many of my basic employee rights were infringed upon, including the forced payment of undocumented payments of cash to our manager. If anyone spoke up, as I did, their hours were cut severely, and they were eventually fired as I was. Behind the facade of a nice looking restaurant, is a young wait staff that works in fear of losing their job, and having their hours cut on a daily basis.
This place is fun because it changes from all the other restaurants you usually go to. You have the ingredients (meat and vegetables) and you cook them yourself on the grill installed in the table: I loved the filet mignon and the rib eye was okay: too thin so more prone to burn on the grill. I'd recommend this place for a casual or group dinner and potentially for a date. The decor is not super nice and cozy and the furniture have a cafeteria look and feel. Prices are high considering that you cook yourself and it is not fine dining; but oh well, it is all about the experience, isn't it? In summary, I would say you will have the same experience as at La Fondue: fun experience, okay food, high price and smelly clothes:)
Good and healthy food that you get to grill yourself. Love the marinated filet mignon and mushrooms / vegetables. The pickled veggies are very good to start with as well. A little spicey. Only negtive: they close rather early. Get there before 9pm.
Food is fresh and service is great. My favorites are Garlic Steak and Boneless Chicken. Very comfortable interior. Parking is also provided at the back of the restaurant. Will definitely visit again soon!
