We decided on going to Dim Sum and heard good things about Tai Wu (Mr. Fang’s) Restaurant in Daly City. My party of 4 went on a Friday Afternoon around 12:30. The restaurant was busy, but there were ample tables available.
The dining room was clean and well lit. We placed our order by marking on a sheet of paper with the number plates (orders) we want for each item. The items were organized by price. There was a short 1 sentence description of the items, so ordering was not difficult. The items came out piecemeal with delays (2 to 10 minutes) between the dishes. The wait staff was responsive and removed empty plates quickly. I observed staff cleaning newly vacated tables quickly with a spray solution.
The food was pretty good, no complaints. The braised chicken feet were tender and the foil wrapped chicken was well seasoned and tasty.
My only complaint is the price. The food was good, but the prices for the items are a bit on the expensive side. We average $4.50 per item (including tax and tip), and the only thing from the “expensive” menu was the foil wrapped chicken.
