Description

Like the other restaurants at Pebble Beach, this place has a deceivingly folksy name to go with a decidedly up-market atmosphere. The decor is modern with exposed beams, hanging deco-style lamps and abstract artwork. The menu features an array of creative, mouthwatering seafood dishes such as Oyster Chowder, Cedar Plank Roasted Salmon Roulade and Applewood Smoked Sea Bass. The raw bar offerings change nightly, but there is always a Raw Fish Board to appease the sashimi lovers in the house. There is great service, too.

I WILL NEVER EAT HERE FOR DINNER AGAIN

I had a birthday celebration at the Stillwater. The waiter was incredibly rude and obnoxious. He refused to bring me the complimentary tiny birthday cake because my actual birthday was a few days earlier. He was loud and obnoxious in putting me down for even asking about the cake and totally embarrased me. I sent a letter to the hotel telling them of my experience as I reside in Pebble Beach. The General Manager was apologetic and said she would send me a personal invitation for lunch. The invitation never arrived. I was insulted twice over the same incident!! Horrible is the only word I can use to describe a meal for two which cost me over $200!
