The owner needs to wake up and smell the coffee

In fairness, these are two businesses within one entity. The restaurant is cozy, food is good but nothing excitingly different. Slightly overpriced for what it is. Convenient adjoining bar for cocktails or after dinner drinks. Entertainment on week-ends (karaoke and dancing) a good twist. However, we noticed the drink prices are rediculously increased on those nights. Karaoke livens up the place and allows locals to experience a releasing evening closer to home. BUT, they seriously should look into getting karaoke DJ's who are more professional than that old guy that makes insulting remarks and faces. Is short and curt when you ask for his assistance or simply inquire then tells people they can't sing. They also have restrictions on what language you can sing. Apparantly, the owner doesn't allow chinese or spanish songs to be sung there. Isn't that discriminatory? I would recommend the restaurant, but the lounge? Not really.
