my husband and i love this place! great service, very friendly people, quick service what else can you ask for. the prices are low. we invited friends to dine with us now they can't stop coming by. nice for romanic dinner and just to hang out dinners. any one that love japanese food should at least stop by and have some sushi!!!
I love sushi and so does my 9 year old child but my 2 year old is difficult to handle in any restaurant. So normally I dread taking them to a restaurant but at Fuji's they actually have a kid area complete with toys! I love the fact that my 2 year old can eat his dinner and then go play while I enjoy a glass of wine and conversation. Not to mention the more varied menu than other local sushi bars, the warm reception, and the good prices! I have never seen Mr. Kim (the proprietor) or his wife be unsanitary and will continue to eat there as long as I can.
P.S. they do take out too! :)
I have eaten at many different Japanese eating establishments in the area and Fuji is by far one of the best. Their menu has many selections which is great. The best part of the Fuji experience was the service. People are greated when they enter and are seated almost immediately. You will rarely wait more than a minute before your drinks orders are taken. The food is prepared quickly and the taste is great. The second best thing are the prices. Fuji is very reasonable compared to the rest of the area. You get great service, good food, and low prices. I read the person who saw the chef blow his nose. All I can say is that at least at Fuji we can watch what the chef does. Who knows what goes on behind the walls at other places.
We love fuji's. They have a fun kid friendly atmosphere. The food is always fresh and very tasteful. The master chef is very friendly and he is very good at what he does. Both my four year old and my ten year old love to go to Fuji. We make it a family outing once or twice a month. It is alot of food for the value. Looking for yummy fresh sushi and rolls try Fuji and you be the judge!~ FYI the chicken katsu is the BOMB!
Lousy and not authentic Japanese food. The dinner bento consisting of three dishes was served on a large round plate, not the bento box that was shown in the menu. Presentation aside, the tempura batter was not tempura batter, the beef teriyaki was cold, the tonkatsu and salmon teriyaki were overcooked and worst of all, the california roll had only avocado and crabstick, not crabmeat. And where's the roe??? Expect to see something different from the pictures in the menu.
I have been going to Fuji for about 3 yrs now and I would have to say that I think they are the best sushi deal going in the area. They have great reasonably priced lunch menu that almost can't be beat. Dinner is very reasonable. Fuji has a very wide varity of dishes on the menu, so even if you have someone in your party who doesn't like sushi, they will be able to find something on the menu that agrees with them.
I recommend the Philidephia Rool with Spicy Tuna... The Rock N' Roll is great to...
Food at Harumi's made me very sick. It tasted okay but soon after consuming two different types of sushi rolls I became very ill. I would not recommend this restaurant. The service was also a disappointment. Not very friendly, and the food took far to long.
Great place for sushi! The sushi master makes sushi look and taste like fine works of art! Wasabi roll is awesome as are all the other rolls. It is as good as if not better than the more expensive sushi joints. Wish I could keep this one a secret but its soooooo good!
After reading the latest review of this resturant I was curious as to the difference in ratings. I noted the decor was rampant but comfortable, plenty of space. I noted the menu was extensive. The sushi was unconventional, but had great theme names. I tried two at random and was pleasently suprised. The spicy rolls had great flavor and the sashimi was large in portions and fresh. I've lived in Japan and experienced the best and worst resturants there. This resturant ranks up there at the top for me. Good food, good price - what more can you ask for!
