Peppers Mexicali Cafe, Pacific Grove

One of my favorite mexican restaurants because their food is so fresh tasting. You have got to try the Smoked Gouda Quesadilla!!

It's not a trip to Monterey or Pacific Grove without a stop to Peppers. Terrific, fresh and creative food. Wonderful margaritas! Great place to feel like a local!

Peppers was the HIGHLIGHT in our dining experiences on the Monterey Peninsula. With it's casual and festive atmosphere it also achieves an intimate dining experience with your date. The food is fantastically fresh and delicious. From traditional chicken mole enchiladas to succulent Swordfish fajitas, the menu has something to knock out any tastebuds and expectations. Our server, Jamie, was not only very helpful with our dinner selection, but also recommended great destinations to enjoy the spectacular beauty of the Central Coast. With a well-rounded wine selection and high octane Margaritas our night was perfect. You must take a stroll down to lovers point to end it right. This place is a must when passing through Pacific Grove California. Forget all the traps on the wharf, Peppers is where quality shines!

I've been to this restaurant several times when I visited the Pacific Grove/Monterey area. The food was always excellent, especially the fajitas. They also serve great margaritas, really good sangria and a wide range of cocktails. The restaurant is small, it's brightly decorated and very cosy. It's easy to find - just off Lighthouse Avenue and close to the ocean-front.

This is one of the best places for a meal. The cuisine is Cali-Mex. All food is fresh and served quickly, they keep the chips and salsa coming. The owner and staff are very accomadating. We liked this place so much we chose it for our wedding reception and they made it very special!
