Good food, overpriced wine
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/12/07
We enjoyed the appetizers, salad, pork chops, and a special lamb osso buco. A shared dessert of flourless chocolate cake was scrumptious. The portions were reasonable, service good. Decor in a former firehouse is interesting, marred mainly by a television in the bar visible throughout the restaurant.
Our biggest objection was the rip-off prices for wine: bottles of nothing-special wine that retail for $10 to $15 are priced at $80 (!) and praised by the server as superior. Suggestion: bring your own wine and pay the corkage.
