fantastic food. really good portabella mushroom appetizer. i stopped in here by accident and enjoyed a great meal. their food is seriously good.

very tasty chicken salad sandwich with sweet apple slices. the perfect mix of sweet and savory. very good clam chowder soup as well. i have heard that the french toast is particularly good, and am planning on trying that next.

I love the breakfast here. They have the best omelettes and eggs benedict. If you eat early in the morning they have a breakfast special as well with eggs, toast, choice of meat. This is the only place in Carmel where I will eat breakfast.

I tried Em Le's out recently and was very pleased with my breakfast. My friend and I shared the Homemade French Toast and also the Vegetarian Eggs Benedict. The French toast was so much fun. It comes with crispy pieces of batter that are all sprinkled with powdered sugar and almonds. It is a huge serving, and is absolutely delicious. A homemade secret syrup sauce is also served with it, that was very rich and decadent. We enjoyed the French Toast very much, and it was definitely a special and unique treat that is unlike anything I have ever tried. The Eggs Benedict was equally amazing. It came with a wonderful serving of crisp fresh fruit. They had good quality coffee as well, and were very quick to refill our cups every time they emptied. This place is highly recommended!

We came here for breakfast after hearing about these crazy funnel cake like french toast. There were 8 of us in our party (including 2 kids). The portion size is CRAZY BIG. BE TOTALLY HUNGRY I ordered an omlette, which was ok. It lacked in flavor. My toast came to me hard, and cold. The waitress asked for new toast. It was warm and not as HARD. My sister and the kids got the blueberry pancakes. They were giant! And sadly not cooked fully. The batter was visible and runny around the blueberrys in the center. About 1/4 of 2 of the pancakes were still raw. My boyfriend and mom got the crazy french toast. I dont quite know how to describe them. The majority is fried batter of sorts, which i guess is tasty - too greasy for me personally. When you got to the french toast it was yummy. Dad went with a sandwhich. Which was really good, and i think the best thing at the table. The french toast was a fun experienc, but I dont think I would go back again.
