Great place to eat and bring your dog. Food delicious and service wonderful.

Excellent Food, great service, outstanding atmosphere! I recommend the angus burger, best burger I've ever eaten. My friend had the portabello mushroom sandwich and loved it. Will definately return! We took my precious, but sometimes fiesty little rescue and dined on the patio. The waiter was very attentive, even after my little one growled, lunged, and snapped at him. Suffice it to say, the waiter received a very large tip.

Awful service, bad, undercooked food, too much salt in the food, long waits, servers had attitude. Overpriced, too! Do not go there!

I actuallloved the Forge In The Forest & have gone back 2 years running. Their service and food are impressive. And right now a big issue is that a restaurant be able to accomodate my grand-daughters stroller. This 2nd trip they were able to accomodate her stroller and were extremely attentive in seeing to our needs. The food was first rate. The ambiance, (with the exception of the bald headed middle aged man glaring at us for bringing the baby in, who by the way slept through the whole thing) was beautiful.

Food was good, but I've had better service at Denny's at 3 in the morning. We went on a slow week day, and the waitress acted as though we were inconviencing her with our presence. Had to remind her we were still there and waited over 45 minutes for 2 simple orders (salad and veggie burger.) I know alot of people rave about this place, but I won't be returning soon

We had a little trouble finding The Forge, but were glad we persevered once we found it. The ambiance was wonderful. The antique bar was eye-catching as was the forge which was ablaze and felt good during the chilly evening. I particularly liked the bear-shaped shrubs on the roof dressed up for Christmas. The menu was very extensive and we had trouble deciding which dish sounded best. We finally decided on the onion soup which was filling and delicious. We also enjoyed the garlic chicken with feta cheese pizza. The chicken and feta was plentiful as was the garlic- so don't get it if you're not a big fan of garlic. I had the Mocha Mudd pie which was very tasty.

Forge in the Forest is AMAZING!!! The grilled garlic chicken sandwich & the Cookie Dream Dessert! (Huge cookie comes out on a sizzling platter with ice cream, fudge, and strawberries...mmm mmm mm) Oh my goodness! My family goes to Carmel just to go to forge in the forest to eat their food. Cute outside setting with heat lamps.

Really enjoyed my Zappa and my hubby definitely enjoyed the shrimp wrap. They even had a menu for doggies. And my doggie enjoyed every bit of her food.

awesome food and amazing desserts. the patio seating is awesome as well. A perfect 10 for me.
