Rappa's Seafood Restaurant
This legendary seafood restaurant is located at the end of Fisherman's Wharf and its origin goes back to the 1950s. It has been family run for decades, and the service is impeccable. Specialties include Linguini Shellfish and Swordfish Steak. An ample wine list features a 1995 Rutherford Estates Cabernet Sauvignon as its high end (USD38). This is the place to get some of the freshest fish around. The restaurant caters to tourists as well as locals. See website for menus and more.
DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT!!!
Their food is subpar, and leaves a tap water after taste. Their service is horrible in the following senses: Slow, Rude, Unfriendly, and Lazy. The waitress didn't re-fill anything without giving dirty looks-like a sulking teenager, and referred to everyone as HONEEEEEEE-as she rolled her eyes. We were overcharged and constantly reminded that re-fills were not free- as if we were asking for a free round of drinks! It's really their loss- I would have returned, had they been more adequate. Do Not Go...I would have had a better meal at Isabella's Restaurant, and that is where I will take my business from now on.
this place is family friendly. They were great with my daughter and excellent service to the entire family. Their servers were very friendly and welcoming, the meunu was great and well price. We had a execellent view to go with the food. The food is standard warf food. Having to take my 6 month old child out to change dipers and for little walks, they were very understanding and offered to warm up my food. I would highly suggest this to anyone.
We had lunch instead of dinner as my husband tires easily. Food was great. Our waitress was polite, quick and funny. We stay quite a while talking and watching the activity in the bay. A little pricey but well worth it.
