Elephant Bar Restaurant, Fresno

Waiting is not really an issue. I normally order Jambalaya and Lamb Shank, both are really good. I just love how they have really tasty appetizers during the Happy Hours. I will definitely go again soon.

This place is a joke. From the overpriced entrées to the uneducated staff, this restaurant is not a value any way you look at it. I am from the Los Angeles area where there are more of these Elephant Bar Restaurants and they are known to be quite good. Unfortunately the one here in Fresno is a huge disappointment relying on unknowing first time customers to pass through their doors to keep the place open. One meal in this worn out restaurant will be all it takes to figure this place out. I truly recommend you spend your hard eared money elsewhere. You are reading these reviews so you are obviously looking for the best places to spend your money, trust me – keep looking.

LONG WAIT. every one I know complains about this .. they take for ever to give you your food. This restaurant is all right but not my favorite. I had filet mignon and y friend had the orange chicken something and some spagetti. Overall I woul day is over rated. great place to drink hand hang out but I had better stake elsewere .

This resturant is very good. Try the salmon with white rice it has always been my favorite. The service is very nice and polite. It does get crowded during the weekends and holidays but the food and service is great. Love to go there when i want good service and want to share it with someone specail.

Try the salsa.: Good eats. Sweet potato fries are the bomb.

The Elephant Bar has an excellent menu and good prices. With top management and a great staff, it's hard to beat. And it's one of the cleanest restaurants in the city. Two thumbs up!

went here about a month ago. no wait for a table, but for some reason a LONG wait for the food. we waited SO long for our average tasting food. i almost feel asleep at the table. this Elephant Bar isn't as nice as the other 3 that I've been to. AND the waiters all seem like they're in high school. they seem a little fake, like you can tell they're just being nice because they have to. i'm not even going to explain what happened with this blonde waitress i had...let's just say i'm not going back. i'd rather drive a half hour to another one in another city.

We eat here often. Never a wait for a table. Service is good, the decor interresting, location convenient. I like the jambalaya and lamb shank. The cocoanut shimp appetizers great. Sierra Nevada draft beer a must.

My spouse and I ate here recently, and the wait for our table and food was far too long. I think that you should not have to wait any longer than 15 minutes for appetizers, we waited 30 at least and were starving.
