My spouse and I ate here recently, and the wait for our table and food was far too long. I think that you should not have to wait any longer than 15 minutes for appetizers, we waited 30 at least and were starving.
This is a great place to have fun and eat, whether it be in a small group or big group, getting to know someone for the first time or eat by yourself. Good service and comforting atmosphere with really good food. The mai thai chicken salad or the chicken teriyaki has hit the spot for me and my buddies.
I've been here about 4 or 5 times, its not grosss but not great either. The menu is very very limited..dont eat here if you dont eat much meat or if you just like fish & seafood.
There are like 2 things on the menu for you..Mostly shrimp..and it isnt very good. All of the food is so heavy..and you can do better at home..
I think people like it more for the environment, school aged kiddies love it because of the way its decorated. So, if its for the kids go ahead..Other than that..Go somewhere else. Theres 4 other resturaunts within a half mile
We went there for something different, and it was fun! The decor is unexpected, like traveling across the continent. Atmosphere is casual. Wonderful food and excellent service as well. If you are on a budget, try the appetizers, light meals or sample ala carte.
This a a restaurant that has a lot going for it. Great food that won't empty the wallet, is served by a young, friendly staff. The wait for a table can be up to an hour, but they will serve you dinner in the bar or on the patio if you can get a chair. The elephant sculpture and waterfall fascinate the kids, the underwater mural and the dome in the bar are must see's. Since its opening I generally dine there several times a month and have never found anything to be less than excellent. Be sure to try the Jungle Colada, they will make it a virgin for non-drinkers.
My husband & I eat at Elephant bar once a week The food is great! A great diverse selection. My husband's favorite is the Steak sandwich.I have several favorites: lamb shanks, Macadamia crusted Mahi-Mahi fish & chips, Mojo salad with grilled shrimp, & their new South Western Style salad with grilled shrimp. We are Sr. Citizens & really appreciate the Senior Explorer V.I.P. Card. The wait staff is always well informed, curteous and pleasant. It is our favorite restaurant.
