Love the place , cooks are awesome and friendly, bartender is friendly as well. I try to go there at least 6 times a year ...

Went for first time with a group of friends and had a great time! Joked with hostess while we waited to be seated. (BTW..make sure to make reservations).Drink service was immediate. Full bar. We ate Tappan Yaki (prepared right in front of you). Very fun & festive way to eat.The beef sushimi (sp?) was tasty. People constantly coming by the refill your glass. Fried rice is out of this world! The wife and I shared a combo that included NY Sirloin, shrimp, & scallops. Tremendous. Very flavorful. We will definetly be back again

Food is ok! Services is not good. Prices are low. Wouldn t go again, VERY shady patrons everytime I have gone.

Went for dinner last week, food was great, service was slow.

Went there to celebrate some birthdays on Friday night. It was soo packed. Our waitress was soo Rude! Food was blah! The Chef didnt do any tricks! Did I mention the Waitress was RUDE?? Ugh! Never going back! Tokoyo Steakhouse from now on!!!

went to eat here with my boyfriend because we heard it was a great place to go. the overall result is that the food was bland and tasted burnt. the chef did do tricks so that was a plus. but i thought it was overpriced for how mediocre the food was. I can say that Japanese Kiten is wayyyy better then Edo ya. and cheaper

Service is always a hit or miss, often times the waitresses are very curt, or rude, I'm not sure if it's because of the difference in culture?... Today we had a sweet waitress but she was very busy, they charge $1.95 for refills and the drink sizes are small... The lunch special is fair price, I love the fried rice and veggies, today the beef was kinda tough but still good. we waited for 45 minutes to be sat. I wish the wait wasn't so long! ( Always is when we go with more then 2 people) All in all its okay.. I will probably go to Japanese Kitchen from now on.

Edo-Ya is the best place to get tepanyaki.. I have been to every stinkin' place in town and then some and nothing even comes close to them... If you want a great show... Ask for Vince he is the best... we love him.. charming funny and does all the best tricks... ;) This place is a MUST
