WORST SUSHI EVER! We just moved to the area and were looking forward to finding a local sushi bar, we were highly disappointed with our find. Thankfully we ordered just a few pieces of nigiri and a maki roll - all which was horrible. The rice was hard and old, the fish was less than sushi grade and the roll was sloppy and falling apart. The prices were high as well which normally I wouldn't mind, if the quality was good. Service was fast for our order but then when we were done and dying to get out of there, it took forever to get our check. Obviously they are not concerned with gaining repeat customers, they bank on tourists passing through. Stay far far away from this jip joint, it was truely terrible. What a shame, I was hoping it would be a hit.
On my way into Yosemite. Just had a very good supper. Kyoto has good fish and the rolls are good too. House white wine drinkable if not quite good, certainly for the price. They were willing to make a differnet roll for me that was not listed. Nice people, trying hard and giving good service. Cafe was clean but atmosphere a bit bright and lacking romance but all in all really good food, fair prices. I liked it and would go again.
We had dinner at this restaurant three times when we took a trip last week. We ordered ramen noodle, sushi and teriyaki bento box. Noodle is ok for me. I like sushi here. There was a good variety of sushi to select. It s solid, fresh and delicious. You can expect restaurant quality sushi here. Service was fast and great. The entire staff was very friendly and helpfu, from master sushi chef down to our waitstaff. The price was fair compared with other restaurant we tried. If you are nearby, looking for something convenient, quick and clean, I d totally recommend it.
WORST Sushi Restaurant I have ever been in. I was tired and hungry after a day of hiking and thought this would be a good restaurant to go to but we were wrong!
Cons: Expensive, SMALL quantities, food that is microwaved, water with particles floating in it
My friends and I ordered different dishes and I ordered a salmon donburi. it was not only expensive but they give you NO meat. They gave ONE PIECE of salmon that was the size of a fishstick (literally) which is pretty dissatisfying. If that stick of salmon was really good it might have been different but it was not. My friends and I ended up getting fastfood to satisfy our still hungry stomachs. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant.
