I was very disappointed on my recent trip to Bass Lake. I grew up going here every summer and we ALWAYS bought Beer Rocks, Monkey Bread and Orange Bread. The bakery no longer makes ANY of this. They get donuts from a place in Oakhurst. They make okay pizza and sandwiches. They really aren't a bakery any longer. I just hope one day they have the good since to bring back the Beer Rocks. These were a staple of the bakery and all of their long time old customers miss them.
the best hand made pizza ever.and that PULLED PORK sandwich, well only lasted 3 minuts till the others in my boat saw mine and ordered 3 more .the next morning the kids went for donuts coffee and fresh maid breakfast burritos. well be back,
Pines Village Bakery makes awesome pizza! After a long day at the Yosemite Park, we were surprised to taste such a wonderful pizza in this small town. The crust is hand tossed, flakey, and tasty. The mozzarella cheese is full of flavor and the sausage is spiced just right. I would say that this is comparable to a Chicago pizza. I am sure you will love the Pines Village Bakery Pizzeria.
