The regulars are very loyal here.
If you like big sized meals for cheap then this is the place to eat. The fried chicken and home made soups are my favorite. I don't know how they stay open with the early bird prices (not that I'm complaining)
Everybody there works really hard.
The only down side is that some of the booths are a little too worn out. And it feels a little bit dated but it's a small town so the food and service make up for it.
We ate here twice before we relocated, and the chicken-fried steak was excellent. Two months later, when we had relocated, the chicken-fried steak dinner was a greasy mess. The white gravy was sour, overly salted, and slathered on. The service had declined so significantly that I went over to the cashier to get a coffee refill. Too bad to see a place fall on its butt.
