Penelope's Tea & Gifts, Lompoc

We lived in Lompoc for a couple of years! Penelope's was definitely a highlight! The tea selection was great...love PARIS! We ALWAYS had great service! And...the food! Well...no complaints at all...ever! As for the decor...it was beautiful and very relaxing. Once a friend and I sat there for over 3 hours! NO ONE said a word about us leaving...actually it was a Friday afternoon and close to Christmas. All they did was continue to refill our tea pots and ask if we wanted or needed anything else. That is exceptional service. Since then I have either sent someone to Penelope's to pick up favorite teas and/or scones. (We live several hours away now). We have visited tea rooms all over California and still like Penelope's the best. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Penelope's anytime!

Daughter and I had Mother's Day brunch at Penelope's. A bit pricey, but the food was excellent, as was the service. I plan to take a friend there for tea and scones. The scones are yummy!! Penelope's decor is delightful, and Lompoc's weather is great - while the rest of CA swelters, Lompoc is cool and refreshing (if its good for the grapes, its good for me). :-)

It's true. You don't get much food for your money. I have to chuckle. I have been there a couple of times but don't plan on going back.
