the worst chinese i've ever eaten. it used to be good. me, fiance, and our children had went to eat and the food was stale like it sat out all day and after we had gotten our food they then replenished it with fresh food. why couldnt they do that before. we literally took 2 bites and left. my fiances shrimp had not been cleaned, my sons chicken was stale and my tempura vegetables tasted old. and when my fiance went to complain, they still charged us!! i will be calling to make a formal complaint and if we still dont get a refund i'm calling an attorney cuz we shouldnt have to pay for food we didnt eat!!!
Seems like we end up going there about once a year and each time we say we'll never go back.....last night will be the last time. Mongolian BBQ is really the reason we go, but most of the fresh topppings were gone, and no one seemed like they were going to replenish anything. The only chicken was a few little fatty pieces and it is over priced as well.
There are only three choices for Chinese food in Lompoc. I have eaten at many chinese food restaurants all over the country. China King might not be the best chinese food I've ever had, but in this area it is just about the best you'll find. I've never left hungry or unhappy, but then my expectations are realistic.
Not impressed by food or service. I hear some people love the Mongolian BBQ, but there is seldom anyone there ready to wait on you, or else the line is so long, we end up eating the buffet anyway. We have always preferred Dragon Palace.
My mom wanted Chinese for her birthday so we took her there and I am sorry we did. We ordered off the menu and it tasted awful. I plan to take her to Santa Barbara for Chinese to make up for the bad experience. I should have asked for a refund!
Yuck! My husband and i are new to the area and I LOVE Chinese food. Excited to go there i was expecting the food to be at least moderate. It was first off expensive...like $11 each, and it was gross. It tasted old and it was cold and I found a hair in my dessert. Needless to say I left hungry and unhappy. If possible, please avoid this place.
