Finally made the effort and drove to Guadalupe, and had a phenominal Bulls-eye steak with local beans, cooked over red oak.
My food was excellent, and I really like the fact that they try to use local beef, and produce. Even the red oak is local.
Yes, I did wait about 20 minutes for dinner, but I just relaxed and wandered around to look at all the photos and memorabilia. Please plan 1-1.5 hours to have a real sit down dinner, and you will enjoy it.
I enjoyed my steak so much that I am going back with friends this January.
Also, you can go hiking or walking on the incredible Guadalupe Beach, just 5 minutes away.
