Jack's Restaurant, Santa Maria

Great resturant family style . Seems a bit small inside, but waitress and waiters are very friendly and help you right away. They are really friendly we go back often. Omg try the pies they are to die for.

I am so sad that they no longer make their chocolate raspberry mousse pie :( my holidays are ruined without that pie! i would do anything to get the recipe so we can continue tradition! as far as Jack's Restaurant, it is amazing! 5 STARS! It is as much part of Old Orcutt history as the Old Orcutt School House! I hope they NEVER go out of business!

Food at Jacks is great! You won't be able to finish the meal, so you'll have a snack for later. Don't forget to try the Bana Cream Pie! If you're not real hungry, forget the meal and go for the pie!

Jack's is a real gem in Orcutt Ranch! A friend of ours who lives in Lompoc said that we had to stop in and try the pie, so we came at lunch time and ordered that too - a cheeseburger & fries for my hubby and a patty melt for me. WOW! The portions are over the top - neither one of us could finish our plates! The staff were extremely friendly and made sure we had everything we needed, including filling our water cups endlessly, even with a packed house. It's definitely a hole-in-the-wall kind of vibe, and has definitely seen alot of use over the years! But, that's the type of place we love to go to, where the locals hang out and say it's the best place in town. If there's no parking out front, there's great food inside! We opted to purchase pie to go, and the choices in the glass display were incredible and baked fresh daily. My hubby got a slice of Pecan and I chose Apple. The slices were each enough for two people as well! They both warmed up nicely at home and were delish! Now when we drive up the coast to SLO, we always stop in at Jack's for great food, great service and oh...it's reasonably priced too! We hope Jack's never goes out of style! :)
