Someone from Corporate needs to visit this branch anonymously. The Host and Hostess (there are two) don't seem to be able to greet Customers. I've never seen a restaurant where the Customer has to ask for a table. They will stand there and look at you funny until you ask them for a table. Usually there is at least some type of acknowledgement from a host or hostess, not here. We saw this happen with everyone who walked in while we were waiting.
Is it that hard to find someone who appreciates a job?
Once seated, our waitress was very personable, although obviously inexperienced. Food is just so-so.
This Olive Garden is not on par with other Olive Gardens.
Undoubtedly, the reviewer Raymond had an unusual experience at the Santa Maria Olive Garden. We frequent this restaurant often. The food is consistently fresh, the menu offers new entrees, the selections are varied and quite excellent, the portions are generous and the wait staff friendly, professional and prompt. I highly recommend The Santa Maria Olive Garden. You won't be disappointed.
this is the worst restaurant I've ever visited. I'm from San Francisco. I love the olive garden over there, but this one here was a nightmare. I waited over an hr for a table of TWO!! In fact, my girlfriend and i saw a lot of couples coming out but no one called us in. The table was not ready when we got called. Then we waited for a long time for a server to come. The food was bad and the service was not good either. JUST DON'T GO THERE!
worst service ever! i was told to hurry up and pay my bill so the waiter could go drink. me and my boyfriend got the wronge order and i got really sick. when i called a manager the next day i was prommised a gift card and i never got them. this was my fave place to eat.
