Yuck Yuck Kept waiting in bar, they LOST our name on the list? From the strart to conclusuion people were NOT congenial, service was VERY slow and worst of all food was over priced for what you got. Fish tacos were Bland AND MOSTLY lettuce.. This was a HUGE dissapointment, we will not go back again. My wife and I eat out often, this is not a place I could recommend for others. Only nice thing was the view. Service and food average at the best.

Excellent for a date/special occasion! (I went to cap off a great day at Hearst Castle) Location: Across the HWY from the beach. I highly recommend a moonlit beach walk after dinner. Food: Seafood is very fresh and full of flavor (ask for the jalapeno-sweet sauce) I tried the scallops and tuna with rice. Bravo! Drinks: The bar tender has a heavy hand! :) Great selection of wine at fair prices. Service: Friendly, charming, attentive, and all smiles I liked it so much I promised myself I would write a review. This place was recommended to me and I hope you will be as pleased.

weak food,,nice veiw,,our server thought that people only come there to hear her talk, she was about 50yr old, sunglasses covered half her face, her 90lbs body made me think that there could be life controling issues such as addiction or illness,,whatever the case ,she would not leave myself and my girlfriend alone,,she was rude at times, other times she babbled incoherently, and made no sense,i felt very bad for her.

Love this place, cannot get enough of it! My wife and I believe this to be the best place on the Central Coast. Friendly service - fantastic, consistently wonderful food, breathtaking views! An absolute must!

Definitely my favorite place in Cambria. I went to a dozen or so restaurants during our stay, and this was a wonderful experience. Chicken was very flavorful, bread tasty, and my clam chowder soup was the 2nd best in SLO County. Splash still tops. Service was excellent here and despite the foggy evening it was a nice, relaxing view. My friend had salad and seafood and raved about it. Definitely would go back here and recommend it. Not cheap but well worth it.

Excellent! Love everything about it!

My husband and I vacation in Morro Bay every summer along with my parents. Last year we happen to be driving through Cambria and ended up down in Moonstone Beach. We hadn't had dinner yet and came upon the Moonstone Beach Bar and Grill and decided to give it a try. What a great call that was! First of all, the hostess gave us our choice of dining inside or out and we immediately requested out. She took us outside and seated us. We noticed there was a table with a better view of the Pacific and ask to switch and she was more than happy to accomdate us. Service was fast, food was excellent. The menu has a wonderful array of choices and the view is spectacular. You have to try the sweet potato french fries, fantastic! Good vine selection as well. Overall, wonderful dining experience. Try to time it so that you're dining at sunset if you can (perfect touch to a great meal.) Would highly recommend. We can hardly wait to come back this August!

I would give 5 stars just for atmosphere. The view from the outdoor patio is beautiful with the view of the ocean. The food has gone downhill in the past year and the prices gone up. My husband and I live about 20 mins away and we used to love going to Moonstone for the sauteed mushrooms and just to relax and watch the sunset. But for the prices they charge and the quality of food, it just isn't worth it anymore!

What a great surprise! Amazing food with an unbelievable view. We loved the clam chowder and the salmon was done to perfection! Our waitress was exceptional and they have a great lounge to wait in until your table is ready...

The food here is very good. We had the blacken rib eye and went back the next night to have it again. Their minestrone soup is really good. Not tradition at all but very tasty soup with grounded walnuts. There drinks are also very good. Try their martini menu. They serve the martini in the shaker... so it's a very hardy drink. I had one with peach schnapps - yummy.

Were an elderly couple and felt like we had to wait while younger ladies were sat ahead of us... they sat us in a rear table and there were window tables open we asked the young lady if we could sit by the window and she said no its max's turn for a table..we don't care who's turn it is and asked to talk to a manager.A man with a greasy pony tail said it wasn't a good night to move because a larger party would be coming in .Long story short we were there an hour and no large party came in and other small groups were seated at the view windows..the food was okay but a little expensive.
